First and foremost, I am a fisherman!
I started my bait-making journey on hand tied crappie jigs in 2017 when I was tired of paying big box store prices for jigs that fell apart after 2 or 3 fish. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a small business opportunity and Kingdom Crappie Lures, LLC was born.
Fast forward a few years and a few life changes, and I have traded crappie for striped bass! With that also came a bait making change, and I got into the soft plastics side of the business. That led to a name change too, to Kingdom Custom Lures. The new name operates under the LLC umbrella of the original name. We are a fully licensed business operating out of our shop in Troy, MO.
My wife Abbey loves to spend time on the water with me and does occasionally out-fish me!
